It’s decided. Bipasha Basu has been chosen as the female lead in Rohan Sippy’s ‘Dum Maro Dum’. She will be starring in the film as a Goan junkie opposite Telugu actor Rana Daggubati. The movie also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Pratik and Aditya Pancholi.

The news has been confirmed by Rohan who believes that Bipasha’s the perfect fit for the character. He, however, denied that Bipasha’s character is based on that of Zeenat Aman’s in ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’. He also clears the air that the film has nothing to do with ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’ except for the fact that both contain gangsters, drugs and they are set in Goa. -Sampurn
