When Yeh Rishta- celebrates Holi
By Tejashree Bhopatkar • Feb 26th, 2010 • Category: Television NewsHoli, apart from representing colorfulness, is also the moment when the loved ones meet and express their love for each other. So, how can the most celebrated couple of Indian television be left uncolored? Accordingly, Star Plus and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai along with Star Parivaar celebrated the carnival of colors in a very grand way.

Behenein
Even though the television’s most loved couple, Akshara (Hina Khan) and Naitik (Karan Mehra), currently have some bitterness in their on-screen relationship, they were seen having a great time on the dance floor drenched in colors and grooving to music. To celebrate Holi grandly, the newbie celebrities like Purva and her sisters (Behenein), Bebo and Amrit of Sabki Laadli Bebo were present along with the Maheshwari family of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
The event started with a lovely dance performance, which was followed by the ‘latke jhatke’ of these celebrities. However, only when the people began to color each other, it gave the feeling of Holi being celebrated with togetherness.
