Authored by Parvez Dewan and Siddharth Srivastva, the book is called “Tibet – 50 years after”.
Talking about the book during the launch here, Dewan said: “I had gone to Tibet last year in November to do a book on Buddhism. However, I was so taken by the beauty of the region and the development in Lhasa that I decided to write a book on Tibet itself.”
The book starts off like a travelogue but has components of history in it, he added.
Commenting on the book, Selja said: “This book will give us a refreshing look at the 21st century Tibet and one must read it.”
