New Delhi, Nov 25, Honouring the memory of the victims of the 26/11 Mumabi terror attacks, the US Wednesday said both countries were “engaged in unprecedented sharing and cooperation, and work together on a daily basis against this violence”.

“We all must work together in that same spirit to combat the global scourge of terrorism and to build positive opportunities for all, opportunities for education, employment, health, and prosperity,” said US Ambassador Timothy J. Roemer

“We all must speak with one voice to reject the violent world terrorists seek to propagate.”

Roemer said the US “stands shoulder-to-shoulder in partnership with India to fight terrorism wherever it occurs”.

“We are now engaged in unprecedented sharing and cooperation, and work together on a daily basis against this violence.”

It was because of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation assistance that security agencies here have been able to probe the links of terror suspects David Coleman Headley and Tahawwur Hussain Rana, currently in detention, and if they were part of the larger conspiracy behind 26/11.
